How to add a new user using a removed username

  • I have removed a user from WP in Dashboard>Users.
    I want to add the username again.
    It will be a different new user and I understand that.
    I don’t want to restore posts.
    How can I add the username again for another user? After I have used it and removed it?
    WP says I cannot.
