How To Add A New Sport

Did you manage to get LeagueManager to work for you? If not and you still want to, let me know and we can get the sport file built for curling and see how things work.

I was wondering the same. I would like to get water polo in the plugin.

It has point system like in handball but quarters not halfs, two overtimes and then penalty shootout.

It’s not all that complicated, as things settle down a little and I finish some custom work I’m doing for a LeagueManager user we can see about getting these done.

I am also interested adding a new sport to the system, currently I am making do with using hockey/soccer to get by.

I am one of the administrators of the Australian Quidditch Association and I have so far found this plugin invaluable in ranking two of our State’s leagues.

I would however like to add additional fields for extra information to use in rankings, I’m going to have a browse through the PHP and see if I can solve my own problems, but any help would be welcomed too!

Adding a sport isn’t complicated, but does require some work to get things where you want and if you’ve never done any work in PHP it’s going to be a lot more difficult. As mentioned before, I’ve been working on some custom projects (LeagueManager related) and haven’t had much time for core work, but when I get things resolved, I’ll do what I can to help out. Hopefully in the next week or so…
