How to add a new folder to my current theme folder

  • I want to add a new folder to my current theme folder so that I can better arrange my files.

    When I go into /wordpress/wp-content/themes/”name of mytheme folder” I can’t find anyway of creating a new folder. Can this be done?

  • You would have to create (and populate) the new folder using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

    Thanks esmi but that is what I have been trying to do. There doesn’t appear to be any way of creating a new folder! Is this an issue that is specific to my FTP software?
