Don’t do that. Put your CSS in a “Custom CSS” section of the dashboard, which comes along with a Custom CSS plugin.

No, you’re missing a semi-colon and you’re missing a value like “solid” from the “border” style.

Yes, that is how it should ideally look, e.g:

border-left: 1px solid black;

Or you could get away with just:

border-left: 1px solid;
