    Hi

I have an existing client site that wants to update the look of their website.

Is there a way to add a large image on the top of Single Product Page for each product?
I know it is NOT a default option, so was wondering HOW I could achieve this ?

Like this website that has the nice image on the top of the Single Product page …
    https://tradewinds.co.nz/shop/classic-saligna/#1604439307850-7ba22755-dc0b

The link above is not our website, but something we want to achieve.

ALSO instead of having standard TABS, how I can achieve the tabs on the right of this Single Product page, where you can click and it opens up.

I haven’t been able to find a plugin that achieves this feature for Woocommerce products.

Has anyone come across this type of plugin that can help with this feature for the tabs to be on the right and then opens up as required when people click on the tab ?

Also for some reason our website is NOT showing on the bottom of the Single Product page “You may also like” … with the 4 products on the bottom (I’m sure it used to) …

    Thanks in advance

    Regards
    Kristin

  • Hello,

The appearance is usually controlled by the theme. And it looks like this example website uses a theme called Total. You can try their theme or check with the author on how to achieve this using their theme: https://total.wpexplorer.com/

ALSO instead of having standard TABS, how I can achieve the tabs on the right of this Single Product page, where you can click and it opens up.

It looks like these tabs are part of a form plugin (I’m unable to confirm it as this site has developer’s tool disabled). You can look for a plugin here that meets your requirements.

OR if you can’t find what you are looking for, I’d recommend getting in touch with a web developer or one of the services on our customizations page: https://woocommerce.com/customizations/

    Hi,

This is AJ the developer of the Total theme.

    Regarding your questions:

    1. If you want a large image at the top like the example website what you are looking at doing is enabling the Transparent header functionality: https://wpexplorer-themes.com/total/docs/overlay-header/ – which you can enable the Customizer and then use the conditional field so it’s only enabled on WooCommerce products and then setup a template to display under the transparent header. I made a sample video for you: https://a.cl.ly/o0uGmn8d

Now, in this video you can see I’m making the featured image the main image at the top of the site. But you probably would want to actually display some sort of secondary featured image. I’m not sure if you have already setup a system for that or not…But you would need to let me know how you plan on assigning that image to your products so that I can show you how to display that image instead of the featured image (would require a little child theme code which I can provide).

Of course this is one method, you can always use theme hooks/filters for this functionality instead ??

    2. There is an option to move the tabs so they are on the right side, see the docs here: https://wpexplorer-themes.com/total/docs/move-woocommerce-single-product-tabs/ – but there isn’t any built-in functionality to change them from tabs to toggles. That is plugin territory.

For any future theme related questions please us the correct means: https://wpexplorer-themes.com/total/docs/how-to-request-support/ – this will ensure you get a prompt reply!

@wpexplorer Let’s try to keep the silos clean and separate. In the future, if you find a person with a problem with your theme, please just ask them to come over to your theme’s forum rather than offering a solution at the plugin level. Thanks.

    Hi @kristinubute,

We haven’t heard from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved. Feel free to start a new thread if you have any questions specific to WooCommerce core.

    Cheers.
