How to add a date menu/list?

    Do you know if it is possible to have a “dropdown menu” or similar for the date field?

    I was trying to do have the “classic” method to choose day/month/year from a list/menu. Do you know how to do it?

    Another question: it is possible to have 2 fields on the same line?

    The HTML5 date type should have that as default in most modern browsers.
    2 fields on the same line is possible with a custom style rule.
    However, I will not give a CSS introduction here.
