@gracewell yes, this is possible. although requires more work. You would need to revise the custom donation API code plus add a custom template field into your theme. That’s two files.

Here is a gist that should provide what you are looking for (note that we have taken the donation API code and turned it into a plugin). There are some instructions included but with a little developer know how one should be able to figure out what we are doing here. Feel free to let us know if you have questions.
