How to add a blog within wordpress site

  • hi, i run a small wordpress press release site, now i am having a need to have a seperate blog section for my site, i know by installing a different wordpress in sub folder will do the needful, but i really dont have time to do all seo again for blog, is there any way to do it with any plugin.

    You don’t need a plugin.

    Are you using posts or pages on your site now?

    What you need to do is create a page called “Blog”, then, from settings->reading, designate that as your post page. As soon as you save, site.com/blog/ will be your blog page.

    I am using default wp post layout,will try your suggestion,hope it will not break existing site.
