How to add a block tag to RSS?

You can add this to your functions.php using Code Snippets (with Run snippet everywhere enabled):

add_filter('ssp_feed_item_block', function(){
   return 'on';
});

A separate block tag for Google isn’t required as it respects <itunes:block>.

This will disable the episode-specific block option on each episode page in Episode Details.

Thank you! My other question is this one about how to get password protection to work with Nginx. There are a few podcast directories that seem to not respect the iTunes block tag.

added to nginx config:

fastcgi_param HTTP_AUTHORIZATION $http_authorization;
proxy_set_header HTTP_AUTHORIZATION $http_authorization;
