    Hi Flowdee,

I don’t want to sound like a moron here, but I don’t actually see how to use this plugin. It appears the coupons and the vendors are just plain posts in wordpress. I am using wp e-commerce as well. Do you know if this works with it? Your plugin lets you set the discount of example: 10% off. Where does this come off? I made a code in your plugin but it does not affect anything upon checkout.

My only goal is to make coupon codes and link them to a person, so that I can track their referrals to our website and give them a cut of the sale without doing the affiliate URL, just discount codes. Is this possible?

  • Hi kid5sparkle,

well actually you can create pages like this: https://wp-deals.com/wordpress-deals-discounts-services/

You setup vendors, create coupons and assign them to vendors. Affiliate links can be added to the vendors or coupons as well. Tracking of link clicks can be done by other plugins like “Pretty Link” for example.

    Hope this helps?

My boss is looking for the idea of handing out codes to be entered online at checkout, so that the person essentially gets a percentage of the sale from the code being entered. I can’t tell if your plugin does that…

This plugin does not have anything to do with checkouts (or eCommerce at all). It’s just to display discount codes / coupons / deals.
