How to activate the sound?

Do you want to play sound while popup appear?
Or did you create popup with some animation in it?

Provide URL of the webpage you’re using popup, so I’ll check what’s wrong
And screenshot of the popup settings (from admin area)

Yes, I created an animation with a sound https://ethane.fr/

If I use the html file directly, it works fine, but when the animation is in the popup, the sound is not played.

I visited your website and checked that popup.
The most possible reason of your issue – JS error on home page: https://prntscr.com/izplfj. As you can see, reference error with not defined “playSound” is coming from your theme.

Globally, they do, but f.e. Chrome is releasing update which allows autoplay only for special cases.
We kindly insist that the problem should go from a theme, moreover the text of an error says it directly – could you please try to deactivate it and check? Then, please, contact us with results of checking.
