How to activate footer sidebar

  • Hey Guys,

    Just a really quick question. How can I activate the footer sidebar in my template? I have looked everywhere and can’t find any information on it which makes me think it’s really easy and i’m being stupid!

    I have added widgets into the footer widget areas in the admin which from looking at the comments in the code is what I need to do to get it to work but it’s not!

    Do I need to call it using something like wp_footer_sidebar() or something?
