How to activate dynamic bar in widget

  • Hi… sorry for keep asking about this plugin ?? This plugin is so awesome!
    After found that set as frontpage has some bugs, i try to tweak it a little. I can showed the question list just as the main page via copy the base script into widget question script. And it’s a big success ?? But the dynamic bar to choose Active, Newest, Voted etc and select label is not working. Can you please help me to make them work? I try to copy all anspress theme files into wordpress files but still not working ??

    You can simply use WP_Query for custom question and answer listing. You can check /include/anspress-shortcode.php for examples.

    Sorry, i’m not a php master or something. I just trying to copy some php files into other php files. sometimes it work and sometimes it doesn’t. So, if i’m not wrong, do you mean by using WP_query i can choose specific question listing such as list by vote?

    What i do here is:
    1. copy anspress theme files as my own theme
    2. copy the base.php in ans theme and paste it into question-widget.php
    3. use the new ans question widget into my theme widget
    as you can see, the layout almost viewed perfectly. The only thing that not working is the dynamic menu (to choose Active, Newest, Voted, Most answers, Unanswered, Oldest) and question label (open, closed). It’s not wiewed as tab but as list and not work (as the screenshot link i gave)

    hello terromon,
    I am bit busy with next version of AnsPress. and your question have a long answer, so it will be better to add this feature in AnsPress rather then posting code here.
    So I will create more widgets in AnsPress as per your request.

    if you add it here then it will not be missed by us.
