How to achieve this layout?

    I am quite new to WordPress. I would like to create a landing page with a single column as in my screenshot. I have achieved this by using the Full-width Template, which gets rid of the navigation bar.

    But how do I create a cross like layout to put my comparison table inside the extended sides, and continue writing in the same centered column after the table?

    I would really appreciate if somebody could point me to the right direction.
