  • @buchtic1, you can exclude images from Nextgen ATP button in the editor on a per page/post basis

I’m not sure, what you think.

I have page on which is NextGEN Basic Thumbnails – one thumbnail and after click them is displayed gallery in lightbox
But I want thubmanil different from thumnail automatically generated from gallery

You asked for exclude images from gallery, and I told you that.
Now, if I understand well, you are asking for change to your liking the thumbnail of the gallery in album page, that’s right?
If so, you can choose the preview image from Manage Galleries -> Gallery:name -> Preview image:

Yes, I asked for exclude image, but so excluded image stay as preview image.

I’m asking, because preview image setuped in Manage Galleries -> Gallery-name is not working. Still as preview image displayed picture #01 from gallery

That’s strange, but without a link and an example of what you see and what you expect to see it’s hard to tell if you are only confused in some action or if it’s a real issue. Or maybe I’m the one confused.
Please post an URL to the live page with the problem and maybe a screenshot of what you have in Manage Galleries -> Gallery:name -> Preview image:

You can see example on: https://designchmelar.cz/test-galerie/
    Screenshot of gallery setting: https://designchmelar.cz/gallery/ng-setup-01.png

How you can see, in setting is configure preview image #02, but on page is display #01, beacuse #01 is first image in gallery

It could be a cache/minify issue. Have you tried to empty all caches?
Also deactivating all plugins but NGG may help (to test), always deleting cache.

Edit: I see that you are using a particular template for display the gallery, this can also be investigated

    Thread Starter Buchtic1

    (@buchtic1)

    It’s not cache problem.

What template do you mean? I don’t have any template for gallery. It’s default, only some CSS customization.

Please, as said, try with all other plugins deactivated and with a WP default theme, it’s important for you to know if the issue still occurs in a basic situation.

    Thread Starter Buchtic1

    (@buchtic1)

Doesn’t matter, whether plugins are activated or is setuped default theme (twentytwelve, twentytthirtee, twentyfourteen). Situation is same in default state, or if I have activated plugins.

It’s problem this plugin. This problem is same in previous 2.x version, older WordPress (3.7.x) and on other themes.

    Please author, fix it ASAP.

Next time maybe you could tell right away from the start what you’ve done or not and give an issue description when you open the topic.

    Please author, fix it ASAP.

Keep in mind that the problem can be related to your side, otherwise we would all have the same issue.
So, if you have done the troubleshooting and you still have the issue, you can submit a bug report (referencing to this topic), but they need your WP credentials and maybe your FTP credentials.

I tested on other site, other version WordPress and plugin.

Thank’s for link to report bug.

@tizz – Thank you very much for trying to help here.

@buchtic1 – I have just replied to your Bug Report … but, aside from my response, the first thing I would recommend is trying to re-insert the gallery if you have changed the gallery preview image _after_ you inserted it originally.

The ATP holds its own settings (including the preview image used) when it is inserted, and there are very few “global” settings that will change what the ATP inserted gallery displays.
