how remove ‘>>’ from the title

  • Between the title tags in your header.php, replace the code with the following:

    For only the blogs title on everypage:
    <?php bloginfo('name'); ?>

    For the blogs title followed by the post name:
    <?php bloginfo('name'); ?> <?php wp_title(); ?>

    For something a bit flashier:
    <?php bloginfo('name'); ?> <?php if ( is_single() ) { ?> &raquo; Blog Archive <?php } ?> <?php wp_title(); ?>
