How remove category instead of relocate?

Really nice theme. However how do I remove the category link entirely from pages instead of deal with the ‘Configurable position of categories and tags?’ placed at top or bottom of pages of Digital Nomad theme? I don’t want a category link at all.

I tried to figure this out on my own. But I only see ‘category’ referenced in the css file but not in the php files. Not knowledgeable enough to know what else to search for beyond that :/
