How Omni Secure Files plugin do to upload laaarge files ?

    I need to give the possibility to the user to upload large files (about 100-200mo). My shared host limit to 64Mo the uploaded filesize with upload_max_filesize in php.ini (I cant change that).

    BUT !

    I read about plupload and chunked upload and it seems that with that you can upload “unlimited” filesize. And thats TRUE : with a plugin (Omni Secure Files) I can upload my larges files. But this plugin is very specific and I you like to give to users this possibility with the regular uploader (or something similar : included in post editor and that send files to library).

    Also, I read wordpress uploader is also based on plupload, isn’t it ? So why it limit the filesize ?
