    Good Day!

How often is the data (analytics data) contained in your widget updated?

    Details: https://prnt.sc/gJTOHXCfKDxB

Does it update live, via cron, or something else?

In our case, we’re using SG Optimizer (which in turn, is connected to Cloudflare) and noticed the data does not update until we clear SG Optimizer’s cache.

    Details: https://prnt.sc/ZPiwVojCwADz

    Notes:

    1. We already created a Clouflare Page Rule and SG Optimizer Rule to bypass caching of our Admin page. Still, your data appears to be cached.

    2. To assist you further, you already have a staging site from us. You can see/test the issue there.

In short, how can we prevent SG Optimizer and Cloudflare from caching the data contained in your widget?

    Thank you!

    Update:

We destroyed the staging site (see Note 2 above).

Instead, we sent you a video demonstrating the issue via your plugin’s support link.

    Thank you!

    Hi @hiddenpearls,

We contacted SG support on this issue. They recommended your team develop a filter to prevent SG Optimizer and Cloudflare from caching the data collected by your plugin(s).

    Thank you!

    Hi @hiddenpearls,

    Small update on this …

We were able to pin down the issue to SG Optimizer’s Memcached feature.

When we clear Memcached, our analytics data is updated inside both your widget and dashboard.

So, in short, we need a filter to prevent SG Optimizer from caching your plugin’s data. The filter should be able to bypass all of SGO’s caching functions.

    Hi @hiddenpearls,

Another small update on this …

When we delete all of our Transients (via phpMyAdmin SQL command), our analytics data is updated inside both your widget and dashboard.

    Thank you!
