I’m building a network of sites including a WP theme store and I want some input on what price point users pay for premium themes – and what they’d like to pay.

Does a low price drive you away assuming it is of low quality? Does a high price drive you away for cost purposes?

Provide me some input and please let me know if you buy themes and, if so, what you usually pay.

I guess it all depends on what the offering is. IMO, however, an overwhelming percentage of users are using free themes. Of course, that still leaves a lot of folks willing to pay for a theme, especially if the site being supported by a business.

Just my opinion, I wouldn’t pay for a theme unless my site was already making money. If it’s a personal site, I would probably go up to $25. If it’s for one of my businesses and it fits the requirements of what I need, I would go up to $100. Not that I wouldn’t pay more, I just know I don’t have to since there are many premium themes that can do almost anything and none of them cost that much.
