How much resources does this plugin require

  • First of all very nice plugin almost what i needed, so kudos to the author. I was Just wondering, My website had around 5k BuddyPress users and most of them are active on messaging. So how much resources would I require to run a plugin like this on default settings? Right now I am on a cloud hosting with 2GM ram.

    I am not the plugin author, but you would probably be fine. However, if you really need to optimize for speed, you can get the WebSocket version which greatly reduces the load on your servers.

    Plugin resources usage is minimized as much as possible and its depends more from the online members, not from the total registered members.

    For example 100 online users will send minimum 100 requests to server every 10 seconds (with standard settings).
