Hi, I have a few products on sale and I cannot see how many I am selling for each product. All i can see is the list of sales but it does not show what product the sale is for. Where I can get this info from and/or how can i organise it so that I can quickly see the sales for each product I have on sale?

    Hi there!

WooCommerce has built-in reporting on a per product basis at WooCommerce > Reports > Sales by product

More details on that at https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/reports/#section-3

You can also check the orders containing sale item by searching for the product in Dashboard > WooCommerce > Orders

Thanks – these reports a very ‘unfriendly’. It requires a lot of clicks here and there to find out how many units have sold for a specific product.
Why on the page with the list of ORDERS we cant have a column with the product that sale refers to and how many units we sold so far for that specific product?

If i want to know how many sales in total I have (so far) for a yoga workshop that I put on sale, say 2 or 3 or 6 months ago I cannot see that information in one go – i have to jump from page to page and I have drip information here and there or I have to type in the dates i want to see the sales from and to (the TODAY in the calendar doesnt work, we still have to click on the date)… all very time consuming and tedious!

Is the SKU the number of units we have available for sale?
I put 5 and I sold 4, why does it say out of stock?

    Hi there!

I understand the built-in option might not meet your needs, but what you’re trying to achieve might require some custom coding. For assistance with customization or development with your site, we recommend reaching out to someone on our Customizations Page(https://woocommerce.com/customizations/).

SKU would be Stock Keeping Unit. Its used to identify the product, and needs to be unique. To manage inventory, please follow the steps in https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/managing-products/#inventory-tab

If you’re just getting started with WooCommerce, I strongly suggest you have a look at this Getting Started documentation. There’s also a quick 5 step setup guide here: Start with WooCommerce in 5 Steps
