How many failed login attempts/lockouts do you get on a regular basis?

  • Hey all,

    I know wordpress is loved by hackers due to people using admin as a login and a dictionary word as the password which is why most of us will have a login intrusion lockout method.

    I just want to know how often your sites trigger lockouts or ban users from failed login attempts?

    It seems I get about 3-5 a week on average. Just wanted to see if this sounds right or if for some reason hackers just love my sites?

  • What the hack attempt which done on your sites is just using dictionary attack which is often done by script kiddies. Skill hack just need to exploit on your SQL injection, from there and they will dump all your usernames and passwords crack within their own system. Of course there are some other approach of the hack attempts. Currently i only got 1x fail intrusion attempt and look forward for more challenges ??

    Perhaps you shall let me do some penetration test when i am free provided with your approval.

    Yeah thats what I thought, there hoping your login is admin pass apple or something along those lines. Do you have skype by chance?
