How many comments is too many?

I’ve seen comments on posts go to a thousand or more. Generally when it starts getting that big, it does get annoying to keep loading the long page every time. Instead of starting a new post thread, I’d look for a plugin for allowing you to show comments in a paged format. So like 20 comments per page, sort of thing.

I agree, look for a plugin to divide your comments on pages, and enjoy popularity while it lasts! xD

Thanks! I didn’t know there were plugins like that…perfect! And yea…I have a hot website for the moment and although it’s lotsa work, I’m gonna enjoy it.

I’ve been looking for a plugin that will do this, but haven’t been able to find one. Does anybody know of one specifically? I’m using version WordPress version 2.0.2.
