• dear all,

I just installed a new wordpress 3.0 on my hostgator account. Everything works great. I am going to create several different blogs under different sub domains. Just curious, how many blogs can I create performance-wise? My plan has unlimited spaces and unlimited database, but I don’t want to create too many blogs which could slow down my sites. So, what is the reasonable amount of blogs I can create for one wordpress installation?(Each blog probably will have 30 posts at most.)

    Thanks.

How much bandwidth and consumption of CPU resources can your account withstand? How long is a pierce of string? Seriously, there’s no real answer to this question.

Is it possible to work on a blog from scratch on the side of the main one? without the side one going online until you decided “hey this design is better”? =)

..but still having the same preview features (for you) as an online blog…

Themes, yes, Entire blogs (sites) no – not on the same url.

supposedly, my plan has unlimited bandwidth as well. The plan is Hostgator Baby Plan.

Perhaps you need to look at Create_A_Network?
