How long to wait for reply here?

  • Hi,

    How long should I wait for a reply to a post here that I made, before I make it again or something? I know everyone is busy, no problem. It is just that I am not sure if I should wait days, wees, months, years, or ever even ask again. If I cannot get an answer here, I am not sure where to go. Thank you for any information.

    Well, 1st of all I am not sure if it is a new feature in 4.3. What makes you say that? Is that documented somewhere on www.remarpro.com? Or are you just assuming that? I do not have this behavior.

    One possible reason that you are not getting a response is that no-one else sees this and it is not a part of WP 4.3, so no-one knows why it is happening and so no-one can help you.

    More likely this started happening co-incidentally with the upgrade to 4.3, but that does not mean it was caused by 4.3.

    Secondly, where are you seeing this popup? In the editing screen of a post when you hover over a link? Or on the front end of the site?

    Is it happening with all links?

    Another possibility is that this is a feature of a theme that you have installed and are using.

    Which theme are you using?

    It could also be a plugin…

    Ok so my site is https://www.millerfoodguide.com.

    When I am writing a new page, and there are hyperlinks on it, when my cursor hovers over a link, fa popup comes up with the url of the link in it. It is on page editing.

    I am using Customizr Child. It happens with all links when editing, yes.

    I did not hear from you about how you know it is 4.3, ie is it documented or anything,,,

    So I just tried making a link in one of my sites and I can duplicate what you say – I also get a popup when I hover over a link.

    So it does seem to be part of 4.3.

    Do I know how to get rid of it?

    No.

    But i will check into it and let you know if I find anything….

    I would also like to say that your description of the issue is actually fine. We just did not know of this new feature and so we could not answer you.
