Hi there, Thank you so much for the greatest speed and performance plugin. It’s amazing and absolutely the best.

I would like to know the recommended time to keep the cache for. I think by default it’s 15 minutes and I set it to purge all after updating a post. Is it okay to keep it for a day or 12 hours? And is there a way to exclude certain pages or post from purge? I have pages that I never update, is their a way to make them keep the cache until manually purge?

    Thank you so much.

    Hello @mohammedays

Thank you for your words of support and thank you for your inquiry, I am happy to help you with this.
I believe that you are referring to Cache Preload. 900s or 15 minutes means that after that period a new set of pages will be cached. When the last page is preloaded the Cache preload will start from the beginning.
The page will stay cached until preloaded again.
Unfortunately, there is no option to set which pages are to keep being cached until manually purged.
    Thank you!

Correct me if I’m wrong, so not every page will be cached at the same time.

Let’s say I have page 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 they will be cached and then another set of pages like page 8,9,10,11,12,13 will be cached. then third set page 14,15,16. So one finishes the other set will start right?

If so, how about the paged cached already like set 1. How long does it take the to be re-cached again assuming that I did not clear the cache myself.

On the section, cache preload, there is

Update interval and page per interval. Can you please tell me what they are?

I assume that they are for:

Update interval is how often it will cache a new set.

And page per interval is how many page per set. Is this right?

    Thank you so much.

    Hello @mohammedays

    Thank you for your question
    Pages per interval:
the number of pages to create per batch. Fewer pages may be better for under-powered servers.
    Update interval:
The number of seconds to wait before creating another set of cached pages.

If Pages per interval: 10 and update interval is 900s/15 mins after the first 10 pages have been cached another batch of 10 pages will be cached after 15 minutes.
This means that if you have 200 pages and every 15 minutes 10 pages are processed it means that all of your pages will be cached in 300 mins/5 hours. This also means that the first set of pages will remain cached for 5 hours.
    I hope this helps!

Man you are amazing, honestly I’m having an issue with my site not related to the plugin. If the issue goes away due to the caching (it might) I’m considering donating. Can you please tell me if there is a way to support you? Thank you so much.

Definitely wait for the review from my hart, I’m just gathering my words and experiencing the plugin. I rarely write reviews but when I do I’m always honest and try to provide detailed review on how X is.
