• I was using BruteProtect to protect myself against Brute Force attacks and saw a sudden increase in attacks over the weekend. After reading I saw where they were discontinuing support and to add Protect through Jetpack. I’ve done that and I’m still getting attacks. The stats don’t say any attacks have been blocked. It’s only been installed a couple of hours so I’m sure I need to give it time but I wanted to see if I could find out how long I’ll need to wait.

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

If you’ve activated Jetpack, and if the Protect module is active under Jetpack > Settings in your dashboard, Protect is already at work on your site.

The number of failed login attempts is cached, so it might take a little bit to start updating, but by now you should start seeing the numbers already!

If you don’t, could you post your site URL here so I can have a look?
