How long should it take?

I’m importing a large site, about 900 html files of which 800 (!!!) are image galleries. Will I get a notification when the import is complete? It’s showing ‘Importing html files…’ and the number of drafts has stayed at 586 for several minutes. (I’m importing the files as drafts so I can review before publishing). Thank you.
