How long does it take for Google to index a page that has been updated?

  • How long does it take for Google to index a page that has been updated? I’m using WordPress 3.5.2 and I just changed the urls on several pages to reflect my targeted keywords. When I clicked one of my updated pages that was displayed as an older version in the SERPs, the page can’t be found.

    How long does it take to display the newer version of my page in the SERPs?

    this is outside the scope of WordPress.

    even though alchymyth is correct. however, answer to that would be it depends on google there is no specific time. also as you changed the URLs you should set a 301 redirect then all OK.

    Is a 301 a temporary solution while Google updates their SERPs. How can I set a 301 redirect?
