How long before the keywords appear

It is pretty much real-time when an eligible visit comes in. I am not familiar with piwik and clicky but the way Rank Checker works is that it pulls the keyword out of the referral string coming from Google. If someone is logged into their Google account when they search then Google blocks the keyword from the referral string. Also if the https:// version of Google is used the same thing occurs. Otherwise it should be present.

Do you have access to your Apache or NGINX server logs? If you do, could you send through the referral URLs coming from Google and I can help debug the issue? If not then can you share the keyword / website URL that should be showing? michael AT surfingpanda.com

Thanks for the reply. I’m on shared hosting and has cpanel access only. I’m not familiar with Apache or NGINX logs either. I think I’ll skip this plugin for now. It’s really a cool idea. Good luck.

Thanks for the feedback and letting me know about your issue. I was able to reproduce similar behavior by enabling caching. The latest release (0.22) fixes the caching related bugs but I am not 100% sure that was causing the problems you were facing. In any case, if you ever give it another try in the future let me know if you have any problems.

I have had the Rank Checker plugin on a couple of my sites for several days. All are on WP 3.6, and, none of them show any keyword information at all. WP 3.6 seems to have broken SEO Rank Reporter, a similar plugin, as well.

Your comment to cloudduster above reminds me that I use caching software (Quick Cache) on all my sites. I have the latest version of the plugin, (0.22), which you suggest fixes that problem.

I’m very interested in this form of Google Rank checking. Any ideas as to what I should do next to get Rank Checker functioning?
