How limit Header (logo/title) to only static front page?

    Hi,

    Two quick questions about the header. First, how can I delete the menu below my site logo and title in the header? It currently displays in both the header bar and the header itself on every page. I’d like the menu (Home, About, etc.) to remain in the header bar on every page, but it’s redundant to have it in the header, too.

    Secondly, just wondering how to delete the header (logo, site title) on all pages except for my static front page. Love it on the home page, but seems silly to have it on all following pages, too.

    If you create a blank menu and set the header menu to that, it will just show up in the header bar. Does that make sense?

    For the second question — this is possible with Make Plus, but not with the Make theme.

    Thanks a lot, Melissa. The header menu is now gone, appreciate the help.

    I’ve been thinking about upgrading to Make Plus — one more reason to pull the trigger. I’m trying to export all of my customizations to a child theme, so just curious if I’m able to install the Make Plus plugin on both the parent and child themes?

    Hi Derek,

    You definitely want your customizations in a child theme anyway, but because Make Plus is a plugin, you probably (never say never!) won’t have any conflicts. We have a premium support forum on our site where we can help guide you through that if you do.
