how keep pages in google?

    hi is it possible, to have a “maintainance mode” image, so nobody can access the wesite. But “behind” the image or window is the website alive and still picked up by google? How can i make this? I need that, as I want to build the website step by step and not being visited yet.

    Hi,

    Yes, the “Exclude Search Engines?” option in the SEO tab does that. If enabled, search engines will see the normal website, while normal visitors will see the maintenance page ??

    thanks a lot, I did that, but for some reason the pages did not list. so i put it on green (=enabled?). does it take many days to get listed?

    and the front page is “manintance mode” right? sorry i am confused.

    It takes some time for Google to crawl the site again. Just be patient.
