How is the check done?

    Hello.

    I’m interested in using this plugin. What it’s not clear to me is how the check is done. I mean: how, for example, do you check that that specific customer has already bought that product (ownership) which then allows him/her to buy the dependent product?

    Based on what? Email? Must be logged in (therefore must be registered)? First and Last Name?

    Hey @mrprainx,

    Thanks for reaching out!

    The Ownership Dependency works only for logged in users. When an Ownership Dependency is set, Product Dependencies goes through all WooCommerce Orders made by this customer and checks if a specific product (or a product from a specific category) is included in these orders.

    Guests cannot purchase products with Ownership Dependencies. Therefore, they need to register to the site first.
