How is Modified Date handled on Republish?

  • It appears that Modified Date appears to be showing when republished. A case could be made that the display should handle this when prior to current date, but this seems to be a new issue.

    Alternatively, if the post is acting like a ‘new’ post in republish and Date is NOT set to copy in this plugin’s settings (its not), I would expect the Modified date to be blank until the new post is actually modified?
