    Hello,

There are few days I am working with th Visual Portfolio plugin. All is fine, so now I’m looking for implementing it in my website.

But I still have a strategic question : I don’t really understood how the images resizing is managed ?

I mean : I have thousands of images, so I need to care about all the sizes that wordpress is creating for a good storage gestion. Until now, I was importing my files in the wordpress media library and then creating each specific protfolio by selecting the images in the library … but doing this, am I unnecessarily duplicating the resized versions ? The Plugin is creating its owns resized versions too ? What would be the best practice to create and store in the database ONLY :

    1. the full size version
    2. the different resized versions I set up in the plugin settings section ?

I was thinking that I no more need all the versions WordPress automatically resized and stored when I imported the images in its library, so I was thinking maybe it’s better to upload the images when creating each portfolio and not firstly upload it in the library… And what will happen after that : wordpress will do its own resizes ? Does VP resizing process “bypass” the wordpress standard automatic resizing task ?

Thank you for all your advises !
