how i use banner for category page

Since Dynamic Headers hasn’t been updated in the last 5 years, I have used header widgets combined with a plugin (Display Widgets) which allows me to display the widget based upon certain criteria, like whether it’s a certain category.

For example, I created widgets with a different image for each category, put them in the header widget area, then using Display Widgets display each only on its category page.
