Hi @funkyj4ever,
Greetings from CookieYes!
Our plugin has undergone a significant revamp of both its code and user interface. WordPress will deliver this version to all new websites. The implementation of such a large upgrade to the plugin may impact many websites. Hence, we maintained the previous plugin code and interface for existing users for this reason. The updated plugin enables users to connect with our web application CookieYes and access a variety of extra features. To use the plugin, however, a connection to the web application is not required.
The plugin’s cookie list can be manually updated without connecting with the web app. Select “add cookies” from the cookie manager?menu in the plugin dashboard. Give the information about the cookie in the window that appears. Click the option for advanced settings at the bottom of the window, and then enter the script URL pattern of the script of?the cookie in the field for the script URL pattern. For example,? g ive “google-analytics.com” in the script URL pattern field if the script URL that creates the cookies is https://www.google-analytics.com/gtag/js?id=GA TRACKING ID. This will provide the plugin the ability to block the script before consent.
We hope this is clear.
