How? Find & Delete unlinked images

  • When I upload a post with Windows Live Writer, any images are uploaded with it. If I later edit the post, the images are uploaded again.
    Is there a tool to search the images within wordpress, find any that are not linked, and offer to delete them?

    I am trying to cleanup wasted space from having multiple copies.

  • i saw a plugin that did that .. it was actually much more than that (ie, that wasnt it’s sole purpose) but it did do that. It was one of the image handling/uploading plugins

    If you do happen to find it, I would be interested in knowing as well.
