How Exactly are Favicons Added?

  • I’m wondering how exactly one would get a Favicon to work on a Fresh WP 2.0.4 Install. I understand that all you have to do is upload it to the Main WP Directory and I have done that. I also know it has to be 16×16 and a “.ICO” I have checked that and both are true.

    However the Favicon just doesnt show. Is it because I uploaded WP to a Subdomain?
