• Hi,

I am working on a blog word press site and it is posting to their twitter account but there is no twitter plugin installed. Can someone give me an idea how this posts to twitter?

    Thanks,

    Gibs

  • Could be using google feedburner. It has an option to post to twitter automatically based on the rss feed of the blog.

I just posted about this 5 minutes ago.

Every time I add a new post on my self-hosted WordPress blog I automatically tweet this. I’ve been trying to disable the function, but I cannot figure out how.

I do not have any auto-tweet plugin installed. The only social plugins I use are DiggDigg and the JetPack Twitter Widget. I have sifted through all the WordPress settings, as well as through the attached applications on the Twitter settings page, but without success.

I’ll have a look at google feedburner though.

If that is the case is there a way to filter and only send certain posts or categories?

    Thanks,

I think disabling the publicize function in google feedburner did the trick! Thanks jlevandowski.
