How does wordpress handle encoding issues

  • I am having huge problems with encoding on my site. Some content from the wordpress database refuses to be displayed properly on the main page(outside wordpress) and it is breaking RSS feeds. This content is displayed perfectly fine with wordpress.

    Basically I need to be able to copy what wordpress is handling the encoding because something is wrong.

    So where are the functions that wordpress uses to deal with utf-8 encoding? I have tried just copying the headers and such.

  • WP gets all formatting, etc. from the style sheet, style.css

    Try putting a link in your html page header to that style sheer.
