I’m using Tribe Commerce. The settings are weird. The only thing it asks for, to link it to a paypal account, is your “paypal email”.

When I purchase a ticket (test), the email address I input into Tribe Commerce settings receives an email, with an invitation to to claim my money by registering a Paypal account.

But you see, I already have a Paypal account – the one associated with the email address I inputted. But it shows no recent transactions. Why isn’t the payment just being processed in that Paypal account? How do I get it to do that? Do I need the Plus plugin and WooCommerce or what?

The documentation is very unclear on this issue. Maybe I am missing something obvious?

Disregard. I was using the wrong email address (there are multiple addresses within Paypal account/profile settings). Once I used the correct one, the payments went through in Paypal as expected. It is actually a very simple implementation that works well – the documentation and dashboard instructions could be a lot more clear though.

Great, I’m glad you got it figured out!

Is Tribe Commerce still a part of Events Calendar?

[Edit – I found out what my issue was. I had installed the free EventsCalendar WordPress Plugin. But I did not realise I also needed to install the Free EventsTicket Plugin too. That is why I was not seeing the “Tickets” option under settings, nor any of the Tribe Commerce options.]
