How does Tiktok for Woocommerce work?

I can’t seem to find too much information on this plugin. I’m wanting to know if the Woocommerce products publish to TikTok in the same way that the Facebook plugins work i.e. all the data is produced by Woocommerce which said channel synchs with and the checkout happens on Woo i.e. carousel etc links take you to the product page on the website. We tried installing it a couple of months ago but came to the conclusion that you had to set up the products on TikTok/payment methods etc independent of Woocommerce. Anyone use it that can tell me how it actually works in practice please?
