How Does My Theme Look

The theme looks good — very clean uncluttered layout, but there’s too much black/grey! Depressing!

Well, I like it a lot! Of course, my idea of the perfect day is fogged in in the San Juans, so there you go.

Try some bright green, blue, orange, red, or purple “extras” – like the post h2s maybe…. Or not….

jackosh, I think it looks great! =) Great job on giving the theme, a K2-ish appearance. Keep up the good work jackosh… =)

Hmmm. While “sad, lonely, gloomy” is certainly my preferred state (well, not “sad” maybe – I’m NEVER sad), I would have said it was more wall street and pinstripes….

looks good. only thing I would suggest is making the background image fixed so it doesn’t flicker as you scroll the page. ??

I don’t really think it looks “sad”, “gloomy”, and “depressing”.. there are alot of blogs/sites out there that use the Grey/Black/White combination.. :^)

Well, atleast I didn’t get that impression when I visited the blog though..but every person has their own opinions and such… :^)

As for the background image flickering while scrolling, like joeytrimmer pointed out, yeah, I see it now as well. I didn’t notice that before while visiting your blog.. =/ I was looking more at the layout, and color scheme, rather then the image functionality. =)

But just do what joeytrimmer said above and all will be fine.. Again, I think it looks great..keep up the good work.. :^)

Your template looks great Jack, but I would have to agree with joeytrimmer, make your background fixed to keep it easy on our eyes. ??

It looks … okay. Doesn’t do much for me, I’m afraid, but then you can’t please everyone.

I usually tend to themes that use a lot of grey/black. For my next one, i’ll try to make it more colorful!

It looks way better than “…okay” now. It needed more boldness, and you’re certainly getting there. The only thing I can suggest is if you get the four green boxes to be the same width as the gray column below, it’ll look more coherent

Interesting that the search function doesn’t seem to search comments: when I looked for Jenny Lewis nothing came up. Still, I found the post yuou meant and her music really is great. Not quite so fond of The Elected, although I do like them. Have you heard Brandi Carlile? Well worth a listen.

hmm is the search supposed to search comments too? i’ll have to work on that.. yeah, the elected is a slightly different sound. I’m searching for Brandi Carlile now!
