  • sidebar is fine in FF3

But in the “IE Tab” extension view (I guess it’s using IE6 or 7 engine) it seems your Twitter box drops under the content, maybe. So from the twitter box on down, I think is messed up in IE

cool header, i like how it’s not just your logo but rather your logo in a 3D setting (on a billboard, in the rain, with the city)

IE6: Twitter and adds on the right between the last post and the footer. The rest of the sidebar is okay.

CSS here Can anyone take a look at this CSS and tell me why the sidebar would display incorrectly on Safari/IE but be ok in Firefox?

    anyone?

I don’t know the answer there

but it could be, yeah, in your CSS there — or it could be in your theme’s sidebar.php

    Anyone got help for pylorns?

if you don’t hear back, maybe try moving this thread or reposting under the Themes topic of the forums, seems to be a CSS type issue

Also seeing this issue on https://www.bridging-the-gap.com with the Code Blue template.

Sidebar is fine in FF2, but in IE view it is displaced to the bottom of the site, which normally indicates an unclosed div. I can’t load Firebug in IE so I can’t say where. I would suggest running your URL in the validator and seeing what errors pop.

@laura – I see no sidebar at all in IE view, though it is fine in FF2. Same suggestion … validate and see.

The issue on the main page, with the sidebars not displaying at all, turned out to be a paste-from-word issue.

Now sidebar displays but is displaced. Looking at divs.

fixed by updating content width from 960 to 1000. was only an issue in IE6
