    yes this plugin is atm in early stage and just used for own websites. You have just to upload your photos into the created gallery. Use the upload function of wordpress over the editor.
    You can also define a article (gallery picture) in the same way you do it with articles.

    With the filter wp_media_gallery_content you can change the output of the html content. See /lib/gallery.php#21

    In the next versions I will add some admin interface options, also a sorting function.
