How does customer redeem?

Hi, how does the recipient of the gift card redeem it? Does it generate a number and they simply enter it into the coupon section at the cart or checkout, to redeem against selected products? If so, the message in the coupon box should suggest to enter coupon or gift card code, not just the default enter coupon code.

Also, under the Codup Gift Cards Tab it says “No Codup Gift Card found”, yet there is no option to add one. I created a card as a new product, but it doesn’t show here either. Plus, the new Gift Card product shows on my shop page with “Read more” under it, rather than “Add to Cart”.

Perhaps some documentation on how to setup and use this plugin would be a good idea. ??
