How does activation/running affect mysql db?

    Hello:

    Nice handy plugin, thanks! Works great for me.
    When running for the first time it asks to make changes to db tables.
    Just wondering how media cleaner affects/changes the wordpress database?
    And is it possible to reverse any changes it has made if needed?

    Hi @wordmax,

    The plugin adds 3 tables in your database:

    – wpmcleaner
    – mclean_scan
    – mclean_refs

    If you look in the core.php file, you will notice the wpmc_uninstall function that is supposed to delete those tables when the plugin is disabled (through the WordPress’ register_deactivation_hook).

    Nothing else is created ?? By the way, if you like the plugin, don’t hesitate to drop a little review, it always helps. Happy new year!
