• Impossible to disconnect wordpress.com account. Now im stuck in a limbo of not having a account connected and not being able to connect a new one, while it still thinks that an account is connected, so my users cannot use the woocommerce mobile app, because as soon as you set up merchant synch, it creates a link to “jetpack” which then forces mobile app users to login via wordpress.com email and password instead of username and password. This plugin completely broke my site (again! second client this time)

I AM SO F*CKING DONE AND ANNOYED, this plugin has cost me countless hours and money and headaches and so on…

Then i find out that i cannot delete my google merchant account because “Woocommerce” has taken control of my account and is associated as master account, which i dont have access to so i try to convert my merchant account to a extended account in order to be able to manage multiple profiles and now i find out that the google merchant plugin isnt compatible with extended google merchant accounts.

    Hi @utill

The plugin is actually developed and maintained by a dedicated team at WooCommerce, not Google, and we’re committed to providing high-quality products. However, we acknowledge that sometimes issues can arise, and we appreciate your patience as we work to resolve them.

As for the difficulties you’re experiencing with attribute rules not showing up and the need to use incognito mode on Chrome and Firefox. This is not the typical user experience; we understand how frustrating this can be.

There can be several reasons for these issues. It could be due to certain browser extensions, cache issues, or conflicts with other plugins or themes. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you could try:

    1. Clear your browser cache and cookies.
    2. Disable all other plugins except for WooCommerce and see if the problem persists. If the issue is resolved, you can enable the plugins one by one to identify the conflicting plugin. You can find a more detailed explanation of conducting a conflict test here.
    3. Switch to a default WordPress theme like Storefront to see if the issue is theme-related.

As for the account linking, the reason why WordPress.com is needed is because WooCommerce uses Jetpack, a plugin developed by Automattic (the same company behind WordPress.com), to connect your store to Google Merchant Center. This process ensures the secure transfer of your product data to Google.

Your feedback is invaluable to us in improving our products and services. We’re constantly working on updates and improvements to ensure our plugins meet the needs and expectations of our users. We’ll take your comments on board and work on providing a more seamless experience in the future.

    Thanks!

@shameemreza your team may want to try setting up a WordPress/WooCommerce site using Dreamhost’s one-click-installers, as this plugin causes issues and is included by default when installing a WooCommerce installation. That may help you narrow down on why folks are having troubles.
